Heart Rate Control / Programmable

An outstanding design, this console is aimed at users who understand and appreciate the capabilities of a powerful computer. Twenty preset programs (including multiple effort levels) control the speed and incline through 20 workout segments. Users may choose to create up to four programs of their own, or operate the treadmill in the manual mode. Each program is graphically displayed on the large 280 digit dot matrix display. Our quarter-mile track feature is included on this model.

SPIRIT remains the leader in Heart Rate Control (HRC) technology. Introduced by SPIRIT over eight years ago, HRC is the number one choice for our expert market. The Polar HRC system is 99 percent accurate and holds the operator within two heartbeats per minute of the desired target zone. The computer calculates the target zone by using age and fitness level input by the user. No guesswork is involved. Our unique design allows one to use the Polar system as either a monitor or a control mechanism for the treadmill. In addition, this console features all of the programming options as found on the programmable console.
